Every company starts with an idea, but not every idea becomes a company. For an idea to survive, it first needs someone who believes in it, and then people who stand by it. That is how the story of Ovoo Teknoloji A.Ş. began.
The idea
The idea belongs to our Technology Lead, Mehmet Günce Akkoyun. Its starting point was a contradiction encountered in the field every day: pumping stations, industrial facilities and power plants generate data every second, yet that data never reached the people making decisions. Faults were noticed only after they happened, and energy losses were discussed only once they showed up on the bill.
Mehmet Günce Akkoyun conceived a system to close that gap as a single whole: from the device measuring in the field, to the infrastructure carrying the data, to the analysis layer that makes sense of it, to the AI that talks to its users in their own language. Not a solution assembled from outside parts, but an integrated structure in which every layer is built by Turkish engineers. Cinga became the first product of this idea.
The first to back the idea
Believing in an idea is not enough to take it from paper to the field; someone who shares that belief has to put their shoulder to the wheel. The person who took that step with the first-round investment was İbrahim Koyuncu. He backed the idea in the days before it was even a company and opened the road together with us. Today, İbrahim Koyuncu sets the company's direction as Chairman of the Board of Ovoo Teknoloji A.Ş.
A growing journey
As the product went into the field and the first trials began, our needs grew too. With the second-round investment, Ömer Çepni joined us. This step laid the groundwork for a stronger team, more sites and testing Cinga in more domains.

As the idea grew, it also became clear that it would not fit within the limits of a single product. That is why we did not name the company after Cinga, but established it as a separate parent company. Ovoo Teknoloji A.Ş. is a technology company that brings hardware, embedded software, data infrastructure, analytics and AI together under one roof. Cinga is the first product under this roof; in the future, new product families in other fields will be born under the same roof.
The company's management took shape as follows: İbrahim Koyuncu serves as Chairman of the Board. Technology Lead Mehmet Günce Akkoyun leads product and technology. Executive Coordinators Hüseyin Koyuncu and Ömer Çepni run administrative affairs.

What we value most in Ovoo's story is that an idea was born in this land and embraced by its people. The person who developed the idea, the person who made the first investment in it and those who walk the road with us are all people of this country. Every layer of the technology we build is developed in Türkiye, drawing on the expertise of Turkish engineers.
We took our name from the markers on the steppe that rise as stones are stacked one upon another. Ovoo Teknoloji grows the same way: an idea, a hand that believes in it, a new strength joining the journey. Each one is a stone; together they form a marker that shows the way.
